.) Meet others: Social dancing is a fantastic opportunity to meet others with similar interests. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, or find a partner to enjoy your new hobby with, the dance floor is the perfect place to do that.
.) Learn something new: You are most likely the learn the most with your dance instructor in your private lessons, but another way to gain skill will be in the times you practice your dancing with others. Whether they’re giving you pointers or asking you questions about what your take is, each time you trade ideas with a fellow dancer you will further develop your understanding of ballroom.
.) Improved Social Skills: Do you go through the same routine everyday? Most people do, and don’t always have the opportunity to work on their social skills in a fun dance setting like at our studio. The studio is the perfect place to work on your social skills, and communicating with others.
.) Improve Physical Health & Stamina: When you go out dancing, you are combining cardio with muscle endurance at your fullest degree. Did you know that social dancers are equivalent to that of cyclists, swimmers, or even track runners? Come get your health on & have fun!
.) Learn to be confident in new settings: Social dancing at our Practice Parties is similar to driving in a parking lot before taking it on the freeway. You get a chance to become comfortable, and even confident in your skills and abilities. You don’t want to feel nervous when you’re out with friends or the people you know, practicing in our studio is the perfect way to get over your fears, and be confident!
We invite you to practice your dancing with us at our group classes, and most important our Practice Parties or solo-events. Pick up a group class calendar at the front desk to plan out your dance future today!
